Why Ride?
Mali is considered one of the worst places to be an expectant mother—women often die in childbirth, and 1 out of 4 children do not reach their fifth birthday. But all of this is changing, thanks in part to the partnership between The Alliance and the Malian C&MA church to build a hospital in Koutiala, Mali.

Koutiala Hospital opened in May 2006, providing full maternity, pre-natal, and pediatric services. Currently there are two patient care buildings with plans for a maternity building. But in a country twice the size of the state of Texas, the need for health care is great. Facilities and medical equipment are in high demand.

How YOU can be a part of this fund-raiser
Pastor Overstreet hopes to raise 1 million dollars for Koutiala Hospital with this “extreme” fund-raiser. Your pledge for each mile ridden will enable Koutiala Hospital to expand and provide life-saving services in Mali. Make a difference in the life of a mother and child!
